GIVE OUR YOUTH A CHANCE
INVEST IN OUR LEARNERS’ DIGITAL FUTURE
The majority of South Africa’s learners are underprivileged and attend under-resourced schools where they often do not have access to digital skills training, electronic devices and WIFI, good quality internet connection and no opportunities to acquire digital skills. In 2017, we decided to change that and #BACKTHEFUTURE of South Africa’s youth.
Today we build school-based Digital Hubs with access to good quality internet connection and with electronic devices for learners’ use; train teachers in digital skills; offer unemployed youth who live near our Digital Hubs with training via our 12-month Digital Citizenship Programme and the possibility of being employed at one of Digital Hubs as a Digital Coordinator to offer on-site digital technology support to learners and teachers. We do all of this by collaborating with big business and the funding we receive from corporate donors and individuals like you.
We dream of a South Africa where all learners, no matter their financial background, will have access to a good quality education ad the digital skills and digital citizenship know-how they will need to further their studies, find a job, and participate in the world economy. HOW ABOUT YOU?
DON’T LET THIS GENERATION BECOME ANOTHER STATISTIC
#BACKTHEFUTURE OF SOUTH AFRICA’S YOUTH
“With this investment you are actually investing in the future of our country as this hub can help our learners and therefore our communities to prepare for the careers and professions of the future. Professions such as graphic design, robotics, coding, videography, and photography.”

“This space will allow learners to explore and collaborate through technology and serve as an enabler that will support innovation and learning. The pace at which digital innovation and disruption is happening will continue to increase, and as teachers and parents, we need to embrace technology for its potential to empower learners.”
